This is the second version of the screenplay for Dance Hall of the Dead with heavy editing marks. It does not appear to be complete.

This manuscript is the first draft of a screenplay for Dance Hall of the Dead, and it appears to have been written by Tony Hillerman. There is a letter at the beginning with information on revisions to the text and the screenplay itself is covered in editing marks.

Coyote Waits, manuscript draft (C)

This is another edited manuscript draft of Coyote Waits, probably from early 1990. The manuscript is 353 pages long and is heavily edited by both Harper and Row editors and Tony Hillerman. This draft appears to be a copy of manuscript draft (B), showing most of the same editing marks (though draft (B) does contain some added story text that does not appear manuscript draft (C)). However, this draft includes a style sheet, a list of personal names and a list of unconfirmed geographical locations used in the story as part of the front matter.

Screenplay: The Fly on the Wall, Final Edition, with letter from producer, 1989.

This is the final edition of the screenplay for The Fly on the Wall. This screenplay was written by Phil Reeves and Paul Tompkins and it includes a letter from the screenplay writers to Hillerman. There are no editing marks in the screenplay. Because this is a copyrighted derivative of The Fly on the Wall, it is not available for viewing online. Please visit the Center for Southwest Research at University of New Mexico and ask to see Box 15, Folder 10 of the Tony Hillerman Collection to view this document.
