The F-150 is an iconic Ford-built pickup truck that was introduced in 1948. A full-sized pickup with a carrying capacity of up to 150 tons, the F-150 became the work truck of choice, and necessity, after World War II as it was versatile and relatively affordable, and became a recognizable component of many American cultural landscapes.
