Design and Photography Credits: The slipcase was designed by Peter Thorpe and consists of three portions. The first portion features a ladder on the side of a Pueblo house pointing towards the night sky which is filled with stars and a full moon. The image on the spine features a sand painting stylized image of maize (corn). The third portion on the back of the slip case features a sun that was stylized as the Zia sun symbol above the scene of a pueblo village and surrounding both these images in a figure stylized like a sand painting. The book cover consists of medium brown boards with molted light tan cloth spine. The author, title, and publisher are printed vertically in gold on the spine.
