Biography
Char Peery is a doctoral student in the Anthropology department, studying Linguistic Anthropology. Her dissertation explores Robert W. Young’s documentation work on the Navajo language. Char has been working on the Tony Hillerman portal project for about 7 months and her duties include adding content such as digital records for book editions to the Portal site, conducting research and writing articles and definitions for hyperlinked terms in the online manuscripts, and giving presentations on the portal.
