This is the full and detailed views of the 1982 Italian edition of Tony Hillerman's People of Darkness(1980). Il Giallo Mondadori (the yellow Mondadori) was a series of weekly publications put out by the Mondadori publishing house. This edition also contains in interview with Tony Hillerman, conducted by Gian Franco Orsi.

Tony Hillerman's original text was translated from English into Italian by Walter Molon.

Cover design and artwork: The cover was designed by Carlo Jacono and features a Native American man holding a gun with the images of a broken safe and the head of tiger to the left and right respectively.
