Manuscripts for Finding Moon (1995)
In the novel Finding Moon (1995), Hillerman departed from his Leaphorn-Chee series of novels and branched into new subject matter for the first time since 1972, when he wrote the children's story The Boy Who Made Dragonfly. While still a mystery novel, Finding Moon takes place in Vietnam in 1975 during the Fall of Saigon. The collection of manuscripts and papers for Finding Moon is quite limited - there is only one partial manuscript draft (B18-F15), editor queries (B18-F16), and two sets of research materials (B18-F13 & F14) for the novel. There is also an audiobook transcript, which is not available online.
