The charge of the Hillerman advisory committee is to provide oversight and guidance to the Tony Hillerman Portal initiative. The committee provides valuable scholarly review, feedback and approval on site content and design, and committee members both lend their expertise and help publicize the project across UNM and New Mexico. The committee is composed of volunteers from the UNM faculty, including the departments of Native American Studies, English, Communications and Journalism, and the University Libraries.
